Oh, how quaint. The little ol' PSP is selling well in Japan. Isn't that nice? Whats that, it totally outsold its hand held counterpart by over 50%? Oh wow, impressive. Wait, what? It almost sold more than every system combined? I just can't believe that. I need to see proof.

Wow. Talk about cleaning house. The land of the rising sun seems to have chosen a new favorite in the hand held department. While it undoubtedly has to do with the release of the brand new Monster Hunter title, it has been an increasing trend to buy into the PSP system throughout the past month or so thanks to other titles such as Crisis Core. With this kind of momentum, it would not be surprising for Sony's little champ keeps his number one spot for a good amount of time.

Considering the amount of effort going into every aspect of the PSP, including its games, software, accessories, and hardware, I wouldn’t expect any less. It's going to keep eating up the competition. I guarantee it.
