The Sony PSP is one of the hottest portable gaming devices on the market today. Not only can it play high quality games, you can watch UMD movies and listen to mp3. However I feel the standard PSP accessories are lacking and here is my list of the 3 best PSP accessories available.
One of the best psp accessories available is the Logitech PlayGear street case. The PSP is very fragile and cannot withstand a knock or a drop therefore you need a protective casing so that you do not need to worry when carrying the PSP around.
The Logitech PlayGear casing is made of polycarbonate which makes it very tough and can protect the PSP from scratches and bums. There are also extra pockets to store up to 3 UMD discs and up to 4 Sony Duo memory sticks.
You can also easily access the headphones jack without opening the case and it has built in cord management so you don’t have to worry about the wires getting entangled.
Let’s face it, the 16MB Sony Duo memory stick supplied with the standard PSP value pack can’t hold much data. It can’t even store a video.
If you are watching downloaded videos and mp3 on your PSP, you need a larger capacity. A 4GB Sandisk Memory Stick Pro Duo can store much more videos and mp3. I never had a problem with Sandisk products and I highly recommend getting one. It’s one of the best PSP accessories around.
One of the complaints I had with the PSP is the LCD screen which is very susceptible to scratches and easily leave fingerprints if you touch the LCD with your hands.
The hori protective filter is a clear hard plastic cover which provides anti-scratch protection for your PSP LCD. It is very clear with none of the blurriness and it is also very cheap. I highly recommend getting one.
So that’s my list of the top 3 best PSP accessories.
